So I work at an ad agency in the media department and I get all these business cards from people . Of course I keep all the cards but I don't know what to do with them? Any suggestions?

Email/call up people you've met whom seem interesting (or even not) asking to meet with them for just 15-20 minutes to talk about their experiences in the company and elsewhere, what sort of stuff they've been working on, etc. Take the initiative to set up a time yourself, not let them suggest a time. This will not only help you learn about the company, but get your name out to more people which could help you land another internship there or get you a full time offer.

Also what's if it's not possible to physically meet up because their offices are a good 6 hours away lol?

I've been starting to do this with my internship this summer. one person I want to talk to is in another office too, that is what a phone is for!
