Public Unis with great internship programs...

I'm soon to be a transfer student and wondering which Public Universities had good internship programs. I know in most public unis you don't get the individualized attention as in a small college, but there has to be one out there that stands out among the rest.

English major, by the way.

thanks in adv.

Public Universities have a reputation for lecture halls for freshman and sophomore years but things can get much, much better in the junior and senior years. My son is taking a senior-level course and there are a total of eight students in it.

Our son's university doesn't have internships but the do have research jobs on and off campus and our son's department forwards a lot of on campus jobs and jobs from private companies and internships from other universities. I guess a good place to start would be the english departments at the schools that you are looking at.
