Jobs/Field Work in social work/econ. development in relation to poverty?

I'm currently a junior @ gt majoring in mgt/econ.. and looking into careers in econ development and social work relating to poverty in developing nations around the world when i graduate..

I'm also interning @ a refugee center w/ the IRC and I would like to do some field work in Africa or India next summer.. Know of any programs that are pretty legit for that kind of stuff?

Are there any jobs that you guys know of that would get me $35k-45k USD when I graduate? I know that when working for an ngo or govt. organization dealing with poverty the salary is going to be subpar but I just wanted to get an idea of the careers and salary ranges that would be offered when I do graduate..

Thanks!! Oh and I'm not really planning on going to grad school.. think that would be a good idea? I have a really crappy gpa so I don't even think I could get into a decent one lol
