need some advice

Im currently a senior in finance and I have a pretty low gpa from average state school which prevented me from getting any job interviews. My question is should just graduate on time in may without a job or stay in school for another to try to raise my gpa.

What type of school do you go to? How low is your gpa? Have you had any job experience or internships? Are you involved and have leadership positions in any clubs/orgs? And what would the costs be to stay another year/semester and what would your goal be during that time?

I go to Texas A&M and my GPA is around 3.25. I had an internship at a local city's accounting dept and I am involved in a service fraternity but not any leadership positions, but I have studied abroad for a sem in Singapore. The cost of staying an extra year is not a problem and I guess my main goal is to try to wait till the economy gets any better

yeah staying in school solely to raise your gpa probably isn't a good idea. however, if you can get a masters or something worthwhile by staying in school then it might be different. with a 3.25, you should be getting a few interviews. what kind of jobs are you applying for? you may not be getting the big corporates but also apply to smaller companies and the such b/c right now you just need a job.
