I am graduating in May 2010, so this is my last year in college. I am having a really hard time choosing between full time job and Grad School. So far I have got many interview invitation and some offers. Let's say if I accept an offer from a company which I would love to for, but later on I decide that I want to go to Grad School. Is it possible to tell the company that I have already accepted the full time offer to switch it to a summer internship instead and tell that I will want to start the full time position after I am done with my MS degree? Thank you!

I can't imagine any company "switching" a full time offer to an internship one. what you might be able to do is have your offer deferred a year while you do your M.S., but in this kind of a job market I imagine that is even a bit of a stretch. New college grads don't really have any leverage...

If you want an internship then you should be applying to those instead of full time. I agree with bigmike in the fact that new college grads have minimal leverage in this job market. And there's no guarantee the company will hire you after you get your MS either. It's a tough decision but I think you can always go back to school on your terms but in this economy if you can get a job that's pretty good. though that's my personal thoughts. however, i do know that companies like people with work experience and bs degrees rather than masters with no experience b/c the bs people are cheaper and more easily trainable.
