| sales and trading Which banks offer internships within sales and trading for sophomores? I'm currently a freshman at upenn, and I want to see if I can apply to a couple of S&T internships for next summer (09). |

| I know all the bulge bracket firms offer Sales and Trading Summer Analyst programs (Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Morgan Staney, etc.). They are mainly offered to juniors, but I believe sophomores are able to apply.
Coming from UPenn you will be in a solid position to pick one up next summer, despite being a sophomore. Make sure to reach out to alumni, as your school has undoubtedly one of the strongest representations on Wall Street. |

| Most also have Sophomore programs for minorities, so that helps a lot. |

| I'm hispanic, but I'm international. Would programs still let me apply to these minority programs? Or are they reserved for citizens/residents? |

| I'm not quite sure, you'd have to do some investigating but my gut tells me from my experiences that you'd probably be able to. Don't hold me to that though. |

| I have that same doubt aj16. I thin our best best would be to ask each bank when we actually begin the process of applying to these programs. |

| Can anyone recommend any good books to read during summer so as to get to know the general aspects of the industry? Something that I'm guessing would be useful during interviews. |
