Wall Street Prep

Hey yx1120.

I'm currently doing the Wall Street Prep self-study courses and can provide some feedback. Do you have any specific questions about the program?

In general, I found the courses to be really informative and relevant; however, it can be challenging at times. I talked to my guidance counselor and he was the one that recommended me to do this program as he said that many firms in the financial industry prefer candidates with a wall street prep certificate as it shows them that you are knowledgeable and qualified. Also, if you are interested, you can input the code
REF17184 to get 15% off the $499, so you can save about 75 bucks.

Feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions.

Hi - I haven't used wallstreetprep but I can recommend training the street if you want a self study book.

We used TTS during analyst training, and it does a good job covering practical topics about modeling.

I would reccommend www.breakingintowallstreet.com. It teaches via video and has accompanying excel files for you to download so you can do it alongside with the videos. You can also post any question you might have and get a timely response. Membership is for a lifetime and they are always updating the site. I think in the next few weeks their adding a hypothetical case study of a merger between yahoo and someone else I can't remember. Anyways, it's worth checking out.At $249 it's far cheaper than some of these other guides. As long as your looking for fundamental knowledge to get you through your SA or starting FT interviews this should be more than enough.
