In general, UoC is not as well recruited as any of the other schools mentioned for NY opportunities.

McCombs will provide better recruitment than any of the four you are considering adding. If UT is a safety, you might as well not add any more. Also, it seems like you're from Texas, and (unless you're loaded) it might not be worth going to a few of those over McCombs, especially in-state, in terms of placement vs debt on graduation.

Skittles what if I don't get into BHP?? People on this board say if you're not in BHP you are at a big disadvantage in terms of recruitment.

Recruitment is better for those in BHP, to be sure. From what I've heard though, "regular" McCombs is still a better bet than Boston College, Vanderbilt, Emory, or Washington. I'm not an expert though, and I'm in the exact same position as you, so take that for what it's worth.

You really do need to look at NYU Stern. With the exception of Cornell and Penn, that would be the best recruiting situation. Anyway, good luck with your applications. I'll be submitting all of mine when I get out of the Army next year. McCombs is "safety-ish" for me as well.

The thing about stern is that I probably can't afford it unless I take out some loans. Maybe 40-50k.
