I mean... at the analyst level your bonus relatively tightly range bounded anyway, so the analysts tend to work in teams pretty well. At higher levels where compensation is tied to how much money you bring in... I don't know. you'll have to ask someone who was crazy enough to stay in banking
More like everyone paying lip-service to teamwork and feeding you buzzwords at the recruitment events, and then when you get there everyone stabbing everyone in the back while smiling in each other's face.
