My mom told me (when we were at the NYC Unifieds. I wasn't there for the info session, but my mom was) that they usually accept around 45 students to yield a class of 21 or 22. I don't remember the exact figures, but that's what she said.

At my info session at the Chicago Unifieds, they said that they aim for 12 MTs and 16 Acting majors. They said they usually accept around double in order to yield approximately 28 total.

At the LA unifieds, he said that they shoot for a class of between 12-16, and yield around 30.

I auditioned at the NYC unifieds and still have not heard a thing. I am so anxious to hear back from places. it is so annoying that they send out acceptances and rejections at what seems to be random dates and order

Yes, motter3, when my kid auditioned on 1/19 in Herndon, Va., Lee Byron told the gathering that he would make a very few yes and no decisions on each audition day, but that most kids would have to hang tight and wait until late March-early April to hear, because Ithaca typically wants to see *all* candidates before filling the class. Best of luck!

Saturday March 1 was the very last audition (I was one of the very last auditioners) Lee said he wanted to make all decisions THAT NIGHT because they are leaving for the city today. So... they know. It's now in the hands of admissions to get to us.

So the decisions were made March 1st?
The Admissions said that if my audition were successful, the "audition" item would go to the "what we have received" list on MyIthaca, only then my application would be complete and they would review everything...
that means... in case I didn't go well in my audition I'll know thru myIthaca considering the decisions have already been made =O
is that right? :S

Brrruno- Keep in mind the 1st was just last friday and as much as we would like to believe that they are obbsessing over it as much as we are, I doubt they would have a decision, AND myIthaca updated over the WEEKEND

Brruno, I think that if you keep logging onto myIthaca, your decision should eventually show up. Good luck!
