Syrso - Since my D's audition moved over I have been watching the postings of when audition moved over and when acceptance or rejections were received. Frankly, I can't find any correlation. We've been expecting an Ithaca letter for about a week and nothing has come. I kinda look at it as no news is good news.

yes, i believe they hold some people until the end... "nice one but lets see the others", my audition moved last Thursday but I'm not expecting anything soon (unless its a "no", which I'd rather not expect haha)...
and cheer ppl! It's almost April =)

I am much calmer now... I don't know what's wrong with me haha I'm from Brazil, IC is my only choice as the other schools didn't seem very welcoming to international students, so I only applied for Ithaca! If that doesn't go well, I'm stuck here in the land of No-Musical-Theatre-at-all =(
So cheer up guys! =D

u have all been very supporting (is that right? supporting? lol), thank you =)

Brrruno, hang in there! The fact that you have not heard anything is definitely good news, as I know of several kids who received their "no, thank you's" recently. I hope it all works out. Wow, you will definitely find Ithaca a climate change ...

Mama!
I look forward to that climate change! Having 8 months of summer a year sometimes is very irritating =P
And yes, seems like people are getting so many "no's"... but that doesn't mean I won't get one =S Anyway, always expecting the best!
We can sing "Always look on the bright side of life" from Spamalot in our CC musical =D

Musical theater. This is a discussion board where people talk about being accepted to the musical theater program at Ithaca College.

Oh Mama!

I've gotten my Ithaca rejection letter today!

IT STINGS!

Honestly this comes as no surprise, I wasn't really expecting to get accepted, haha, it was the worst audition I have EVER done in my LIFE!

ACE and Skwidjymom! Oh no! I am SO sorry to hear that it was a "no." Drats! And believe me when I say that there is not a person here who doesn't understand that it hurts like he--. (Gotta keep up my clean Mom image and now engage in profanity.) Everyone, hang in there. In other threads, we keep seeing posts from people who thought they were not getting in where they wanted to go and then -- wham! -- they get offered a spot at a terrific program with money to boot! This is just so hard.
