Current Ithaca Acting BFA students?

Hi, I'm actually reillylong's daughter...but I'm posting because I was accepted into Ithaca's acting BFA program, and I was wondering if there are any current acting students on here that could answer some of my questions. I actually auditioned for the MT program but got accepted for acting instead, which I'm really excited about, but I don't know nearly as much about the program. My biggest questions are what kinds of liberal arts classes you take in addition to your core curriculum, if voice lessons are available, dance classes...I'd like to keep up with voice and dance if that's possible. Also, how different are the acting and MT curriculums? Anyway, any help would be much appreciated!

Congrats to you!! That's a big accomplishment. I can't help you as much as a current student would be able to do and so I hope you can connect with one or more. I just wanted to mention that my D's pal from our region whose background is in MT and who was seeking a degree in MT, got into Ithaca for Acting and is now a junior. I know that he has been able to take voice and dance and be in musicals there.
