Housing and Advising?

Does anyone know when we will get our housing and rooming assignments? Also, do we have personal advising before we create our schedules, or do we have to just use the guides provided on the portal?

youll get your housing and rooming assignments a little bit later this summer. also it depends on your major. some majors already have a "track" for you to be on.. just research the departments undergrad advising site. if not, always asking an upperclassmen in the same major generally helps. generally.

If you refer to both the New Student Portal and the Class of 2013 Facebook Group you would find answers to both questions ...

1) Housing assignments will be released at the end of July (#13 on the "To Do List" in the New Student Portal)

2) In the next couple of weeks you will receive a ton of information from the Advising Office about registering for classes. You will be assigned an advisor who can answer any questions you want. July 1st will be the day you register. Then after you complete your pre-course registration an academic advisor will contact you with feedback.
