4 Great Teacher Reccomendations
Essays are great as well (Had several teachers read them)

Hooks:
- I moved right smack in the middle of Freshman Year, and my GPA/Rank suffered tremendously because of it, it took me all of frosh year to adapt, and starting sophomore year I was back on track. GPA: (9, 3.6) (10, 4.1) (11, 4.3) HUGE Upward Trend.
- When I was 6 years old I was hit by a SUV in my old town, after 7 surgeries and lots of pain and suffering I surpassed all of it and didn't give up my hopes and dreams, I will write my essay on this.
- First child in my family that is going to college in the United States. First Generation American.

I've Always taken the most challenging courses offered at my school (i.e all honors if not AP)

I know this is a lot, but if you guys can help me out that would be great! ty =)

More than an HOUR?? What did you talk about? Mine was only 25 minutes. My interviewer told me beforehand that that was going to be the length of the interview. You have really impressive stats. I just wanted to say that we have almost EXACTLY the same GPA trend. Crazy, huh.

You can learn about interviews at this page on the JHU Admissions website. They are not required. If you won't be in the Baltimore area but choose to have an interview, you can request one by clicking the Off Campus Interviews link and submitting the form. An alumni volunteer in your area will be in touch to schedule an interview, if there is a volunteer in your area.

Is it really too late for me to get interviewed if I'm applying ED?

Or could I just do one hoping they get to look at it...

If applying Early Decision, alumni interview requests must be submitted by November 1.
It appears to be too late for an ED request. Of course you could always try, but be prepared to take 'no' as a possible answer.

You think it would look "bad" though...if I got denied for an interview since I missed the deadline?

As an alumni interviewer, I know that I will have submitted my ED interview comments by tomorrow (even we have deadlines ), and it says all over the interview request form that the request deadline for ED applicants is Nov. 1 (since it does take a little time to schedule and conduct the interview), so it's almost surely too late. (And it might look as if you weren't following directions if you're applying ED and just now requesting an interview.)

I wouldn't worry about it, since interviews are not required.

Just remember -- as mootmom said "INTERVIEWS ARE NOT REQUIRED." They are also non-evaluative.

So, since you were not able to have an interview it will not affect your application in any way. Typically only 10-15% of the applicant pool does an interview. Relax.
