Re: Course Registration
Hey everyone,
Is there a way to confirm either online or through the JHU portal which courses are already closed for the Fall 2007 semester?
I'm trying to organize my schedule for the fall and this information would be incredibly helpful. I do not forsee a problem with the introductory classes I will need to complete, I am more concerned about the upper level psychology classes being full, as I am transferring in as a junior student.
I really don't know but you should probably ask a upperclassman on facebook that has helped in the admissions office. They probably will be able to help.

Unfortunately, there's no way to tell using the current system. They're upgrading the whole registration system in July and hopefully the new system will include this, but for now, you just have to try to register and see what happens. If the course is full you'll get a message saying something along this lines of "the section 123.456.01 is closed or full"
Tanya, I think that you may get some assistance, if you do find classes closed, from your Advisor/Advising office. When my son transferred in (Engineering) the advising staff (not the faculty advisor) registered him for some of his classes before he had access to online registration. It was my impression that they could plow through certain obstacles.
