Creative Writing at Hopkins

Once upon a time I met a girl who was headed to Hopkins as an English major. I laughed. Hard.

...Now, I find myself a prospective student of Creative Writing in search of strong undergraduate programs... and what name has been lurking under every stone I've overturned? Hopkins, of course!

The school website doesn't seem to be a very ample source of info. about the CW program... help? Pleeeease help? What do you know?

Thanks,
Bustles

Both Hopkins' English Department and Writing Seminars (Creative Writing) are among the best in the country. The latter may not only be among the best, but may be the best.

You should check these out, if you haven't already:
Writing Seminars Home Page

JHU | English - Home

I know a few Writing Sems majors, and they like it. I've taken the introductory class in the department, and while I was in a Non-major section of the class (they separate us so as to not punish the people who can write), if was fun and interesting.

Also, you can go here: Registrar's Office | Fall 2008 Course Schedule

and see what classes the departments are offering next fall, to see if any look interesting.
