| the only thing holding me back was the saying that 'theres no social life at johns hopkins' but i went to the asian perspectives thing and had so much fun. i found out how wrong the myth is. anyhow, that pretty much decided for me that jhu is where im going. ppl don't study all the time, my host hung out with me and her friends, and then theres lots of social events we went to at night and all of us camped out during the cancer walk, then we went to a get together with dance and music hosted by the asian perspectives, and i met so many people...then hte next day, she took me to a frat party (maybe she wasn't supposed to), it was awesome. before i was so worried that people were hardcore studiers who never go out or socialize haha, thats so NOT true...maybe for some people its true, but i did'nt meet any like that. |
