| Actually, doing two unrelated majors is actually a lot easier since we have distribution requirements instead of core requirements. Essentially, for your bio major, you have to take X number of humanities/social sciences classes, and for the english major, you'd have to take X number of science/engineering classes, so it works out well because your core classes for one major count as distribution requirements for the other one.
As for MatSci and CS, I'm not sure there's much of an overlap in coursework there, so it depends on what credits you come in with (AP credits) and how much you're willing to overload. Look at the requirements of the two majors and see if you can fit them in four years, keeping in mind you also have to take 18 credits of the humanities. If it looks like it'll work out, talk to Engineering Advising or your faculty advisor and get their input. |
