True, but I don't see how that's at all relevant. I was correcting the claim that Hopkins sends the most students to medical school, not the most per capita.

i think i've heard hopkins, duke, yale, brown, penn all say it

Maybe they all have sent the most students to medical school in the past: Hopkins one year, then Emory, then Yale, etc. so they all get to claim.

It's about number of students, NOT percentages. The quality big state schools, like Texas and Michigan, send more students to med-schools each year than do smaller privates due to shear size of number of students.
