Kenyon's Food

Apparently, I have been hearing different views of food at Kenyon. The Kenyon Collegian and many students whom I have interected with find the food less than palatable.

However, if you do look at the Kenyon website (http://www.kenyon.edu/x15226.xml), it seems that Kenyon prides itself on her new dining caterer with all the fabulous and mouth-watering food. So here's my question: is the food only great during admitted students visit day? Or has it improved by leaps and bounds ever since The Kenyon Collegian published some negative feedbacks?

The food is getting worse every week. If I was not leaving Kenyon in 2 months I would protest.

I don't get it. What's so bad?

I'm a big eater so I doubt I'll be affected, I'll eat anything except maybe my mom's cooking when she's lazy. But then again, I shouldn't complain because I'm too lazy to cook my own food most of the time.

Hah!

I like schools that serve bad food. It keeps my weight down. I chose KC over Bryn Mawr because I did not want to end up like one of them fat Mawrtyrs.

the isolation from the city should help. bryn mawr is so close to philly and the main line and as residents of philly like to opine the center of culture lays off the main line...

I ate the food during the visit days... you'd probably get sick of it after months and months of eating it, but that goes for pretty much anything. I didn't think it was that bad. we'll survive.

If you thought that food was not bad, you are going to be fine here. As a senior...the food during visit days ranked near the bottom of all meals I have eaten here.

That's funny. I would expect admissions to push for better food during visit days in order to entice prospies (not that I believe it achieved that). Actually, now that I think about it, I didn't eat a whole lot. But like I said, I found what I did eat completely bearable. Good to hear you think the food is pretty decent.

Kenyon is doing its part to improve our nation's obesity problem.
