Two-Faced Smart Tour Guide!

Meaghan needs to calm down a little bit and actually get to know me before passing off judgements. She is more like a B- than an A.

Justin,

I am a bit confused about my work-study/job part of my finaid package. I know that different candidates receive different amounts in the "Campus Job" field of the finaid package, but what does that mean? Does it mean that people are paid differently for the same/similar job, or are they expected to contribute different sums of money from their campus jobs (in this case are they paid the same hourly wage?)?

Thanks.

Work Study Question...

Hey maxy,

People with different amounts of "work-study" as part of their financial aid packages DO NOT get paid any more or any less for the same job. Let's say your work-study is for $5000 (I am totally making this up!). If you get a job working in the library, for instance, you will get paid 7-10 dollars/hour. You will be required to work more hours a week than a person who has a $3000 "work-study" package if given the same job opportunity.

You are correct when you state that people are "expected to contribute different sums of money from their campus jobs".

I hope this clears up your confusion.

Is Lafayette diverse? Do different groups interact with one another?
