Hi Justin,

My daughter accepted ED and we are in the process of filling out the "Residence Hall Preference Card." She is considering one of the Wellness halls. Any insights you can offer?

Also, is Keefe an all-freshmen dorm?

Thanks.

Justin,
I hope you didn't get into trouble for that "Lafayette lowers enrollment" thread. You have been a great resource for those of us trying to navigate the college admissions waters, and I wish you well.

Justin remember you have First Amendment rights. If you need legal counsel I'm here for you. We who have been so helped by your obvious love of your school thank you for all your great information and support. Our family personally sends out our thanks for the time you spent with us when Dana visited Lafayette. I have my theories on what triggered the end of your CC postings give me a shout out on pm. If we don't hear from you again best of luck. I guess this marks the end of the Lafayette site.

Justin,

I burned out on this thread at about page 18. Is there any way you could separate it into different threads? Two separations come to mind - one for admitted students with questions about classes and registration issues and another for those in the college search process.

Ricegal, go back to page 32 and you'll see that Justin is no longer allowed to post here. I'll personally miss his inside information - but I'll appreciate the opportunity to hear discussion from other students and parents which seems to have disappeared since he started his thread.

The Situation...

ricegal,

Yes, I know this thread has almost become a short novel! I appreciate your suggestion, but as altmom points out, I have decided not to continue posting on this forum.

altmom,

It's not that I'm not allowed to post here anymore...just that I have decided to only accept questions via email or PM.

Great Loss

Justin,

I've only written a couple of times, but I've read every word of this blog in the course of my daughter's college search. You can't find this kind of information on collegeboard.com or any college website.

It's generous of you to offer to continue to answer questions, although I'll miss everyone's posts. A lot of them addressed issues I hadn't even thought of, but was interested to read about.

Good Luck to you Justin. Maybe we'll run into you in person next year.

shamrock,

Thank you so much for those kind words. The appreciation I receive from fellow CCers means more than you could ever imagine.

If you think of any questions from now until Freshman Move-In Day, you know where to find me.

Fall 2007 Course Offerings

Fellow CCers:

I have received many questions lately regarding course offerings at Lafayette. The Registrar's Office has finally decided to include a PDF file of the Fall 2007 Class Schedule on their website.

To locate the PDF:

1. Visit www.lafayette.edu
2. Go to the "Quick Links" pull-down menu and locate "Registrar's Office"
3. Click on "Schedule of Courses and Exams"
4. Click on "Fall 2007 Class Schedule (PDF-not updated)"

I encourage prospective and admitted students to check it out.
