Fellow CCers:

I have had the best time answering questions on these boards over the past four years. With that said, now that I’m graduating and moving on to “bigger and better things,” I think it wise to detach myself from the site and allow others to share their thoughts and experiences.

Without a doubt, I will never forget the people I’ve met through this forum. It’s truly amazing how such a community can subsist with most members never having met in person.

I’m still a believer in maintaining a place where college-related questions can be answered -- I would never think of leaving all current and future CCers “high and dry.” To that end, I’m looking to identify a suitable “replacement,” someone who will be eager to follow my lead in serving as a non-biased source of information.

To members of the incoming class: take advantage of everything Lafayette has to offer. Don’t hold back. It may seem hard to believe, but your four years on campus will be over before you know it.

To those who will frequent these boards in the future and are considering Lafayette: don’t buy into all the hype. Lafayette is a great school, for sure, but there are tons of amazing schools out there for students with diverse needs and interests. Do your homework, find some great matches, survive the grueling admissions process, and enjoy the college experience.

That’s it…I’m out!

- Justin

Thanks so much Justin for all your help. I've been tracking Hornetguy at the Air Force Academy and you at Lafayette College for about 3 years now with kids in the class of 2011 at Air Force and 2013 at Lafayette College. Your leadership and service to the CC community has been most appreciated.

Justin, congratulations and best of luck with your graduate studies at Villanova. You've been a tremendous help to students and parents seeking more information about Lafayette and you've gone about it in as objective a way as possible for someone with an "insider bias." Enjoy the upcoming senior week (I was down in Easton yesterday and the campus looks beautiful) and your well-earned rest from CC.

Justin,
Let me add my congratulations and thanks. I understand you decision to pass the reigns to other current students, but hopefully you can share you valuable insight from time to time in the future.
