no, not yet. though i did receive a letter stating that they got my Common App and wondering if they want to take my scores in consideration or not? lol
Did you apply EA, ED, or RD?

Okay, I should have been notified by today. I've been waiting until till today to ask and I think tomorrow I'm going to call admissions.

This really doesn't make any sense. They could seriously drive to my house and pop the letter in the mailbox themselves. I'm worried they never got my letter saying I want them to consider my scores, because I remember sending having it in my hand to send off but I don't remember putting it in the mailbox per se. Who knows.

I just received an e-mail from the admission officer stating that I'm invited to Lake Forest College’s Global Mosaic Weekend. I presume I'm semi-accepted? hahahaha, i just have to wait till RD decision on april fools--how funny.

Yeah, I got that, too, only I STILL haven't received my letter yet. I'm still annoyed, being as I live 10-15 minutes away. Ugh. I know that I probably was accepted since I called and my admissions counselor told me that I have "very good news coming." I'm not going, that Saturday I think I might go to Turnabout and the Sunday after and that following Monday I'll be hopping a flight to VA to compete for a full-tuition scholarship @ Hollins heh *crosses fingers* How about you?

Oh, Turnabout is at my high school. I don't normally go to dances but there's this guy I really want to go with... *g* I have no chance at all to go to Lake Forest; I'm booked that entire weekend.

And I just received my acceptance letter yesterday at night. Thanks parentals for giving me my mail... XD I should have resent my new scores since I may have been able to bump up my academic scholarship but oh well lol XDDDD

I'm not sure yet where I'll and up going.... I'm still waiting on fin aid.
I did get the merit scholarship with the acceptance letter...

if you don't mind Joycelene... how much did you get for your merit scholarship? I was a little confused as to how they did it, so I was just wondering...

Oooh, I have 12k in academic scholarships and 4k in the talent based one, in writing. I wonder if I had sent my improved SAT scores that would have helped. Maybe not since in IL, all we talk about are ACTs ahaha but maybe they convert or something, who knows. Yep yep yep. How about you, TheVeganActress?
