Can I get into a T15 School?

Hey everyone, I had a quick question about my chances to get into a Top 15 Law School. The main thing is my GPA.

City College GPA: 3.72
UCLA GPA: 3.54
LSDAS GPA: 3.65

As you can see it did get lower, however, will I be able to write an addendum for law school applications? It is lower because I joined multiple community organizations (three) to help undeserved communities.

Also, my LSAT right now is averaging high 160s low 170s. Even if I get a low 170, do you think my GPA being lowered at UCLA will hurt my chances?

Additionally, what GPA do law schools look at? (I know LSDAS is one of them)

I also have experience from a legal internship for undeserved communities, and a might be a law fellow at UCLA.

Thank you!

They only really care about the LSDAS GPA. Honestly it's great that you're working to help your community but it won't really help much. Same with the legal internship; it's cool that you did it but they really only care about your GPA and LSAT. Until you get an actual LSAT score try looking at LSN to gauge your chances at the schools you're interested in. Looking at the graphs, with a 170 you're probably in at UCLA.

Ahh okay. Thanks so much for the quick reply! I will probably focus on the LSAT then as much as I can. Thanks again!

Do you plan to tell them the community is undeserved? They may wonder why you bothered.

On the other hand, if the community is underserved, your action will make a lot more sense.

do NOT write an addendum trying to explain a few more B's at the 4-year Uni. Law schools won't care, and will wonder why you are wasting their time trying to explain it.

But you can write about what you learned by serving the communities....

Thanks for the replies! Okay yeah I probably won't write an addendum then, might make me look like a ****** lol. And yes the communities are undeserved, and I am thinking about writing it in.
