Major, Lindsay & Africa, the legal search firm, has updated its survey of Biglaw partners:

The survey went out to all firms that have been ranked in the last five years in either the Am Law 200, the NLJ 350, or the GLobal 100.
The total number of partners for such firms was 74,299. (For comparison purposes, remember that ABA-accredited schools awarded 44,495 J.D.'s this past academic year.)
The average annual partner compensation was $681K; equity partners averaged $896K, and non-equity partners $335K.
