Private Liberal Arts Colleges vs. Public Universities
I have heard various opinions on this matter so I thought I would see what you all had to say. As I am looking to transfer from a 2 year to a 4 year college, my question is, which kind of school would be the best preparation for law school; a public university or a liberal arts college? The debates usually range from arguing for the smaller liberal arts school, because of the personal attention, smaller class sizes etc. However, obviously students from both kind of colleges do get excepted to law school and going with a public university saves you a sufficient amount of money. If you all could weigh in on this without making it an argument of whose school is better, I would greatly appreciate it. Personally, I am a philosophy major with a 3.6 GPA if that helps at all. Thank you much and happy holidays.
