There's a long list of details to investigate. However, I'm most interested in two things:
1. Quality of life for spouse/family. In some respects being JAG feels removed from a traditional military experience. In others - travel, long absences from home, multi-year commitment, and some danger - it's just as scary for a spouse. Do we know if JAG spouses are treated as officer's wives, living/travelling with the spouse?
2. Job opportunities after service is complete. How do prospective employers view JAG service?
