how/if to put ADD on your resume?

I was diagnosed with ADD at the end of my sophomore year, and since i have been taking a little bit of medication for it, i have seen a huge increase in my grades. I personally think this was my work ethic improving, but my parents partially credit this to the medication. My essay is pretty much set, so i am wondering how, or if i should add that i was diagnosed with ADHD and how colleges would look at this

Thanks,

Josh

ADD =/= ADHD, unless that is a typo.....

Yes, it is important to mention it. When filling out your app, it should have a section with learning disabilities and such (at least mine did). Put it there.

Oh.

Yeah, for your University apps, addy/scholarship essays, and high school cv's there is nothing wrong with mentioning that.

I read the title of this thread and thought you meant a resume for a job interview. Sorry.

Don't advertise it, but don't hide it. Be sure to bring it up to the admissions counselor though and ask to work with a disabled student services counselor.
