I am asian and a girl, will I fit this school?

I have read a lot of posts about this school, and I know it is largely depend on one's characteristics. also, I have read posts talked about that asian will fit in this school very well if they put effort to do it. however, I am concerned that whether the girls are friendly to asian students? because I am chinese, and there is no party in my HS( almost every school do not have this) which means I have never attend party before.

I'm not sure anyone can really answer this for you since its pretty clear that you understand the issues already. The real question is how well do you know yourself? Most people at the school are very sociable and that generally means there's not much incentive for people to go out of their way to discover the "real you" of classmates who are somewhat withdrawn, reserved or in some way socially awkward.

Since I only have one undergraduate experience - like most people - I don't know if its the case that there are other schools which are much better in this regard. My suspicion is that because most people attracted to Lehigh fit in well with the culture that it can exacerbate the feeling of being left out among those who do not.

But forget about parties. Most people build their relationships through their dorm, activities, classes, etc. and going out at night is generally something you do with already established friends and you ultimately expand on your "network" of acquaintances at parties. So the real question is can you successfully build relationships in the normal settings? Parties are more or less superfluous.

thank you mrmountainhawk, I think there is no problem for me to fit in the normal settings, also, if party is not really matter, I think maybe life there will be more smooth for me.
