Chances at Lehigh?

Hey I'm currently attending the Frankfurt International School in Frankfurt Germany, but I'm American. The reason I'm over here is because my dad is Luitenant Colenol in the Marine Corps, and got orders over here to be the CO of Marine Corps Security Guard Detachment for 15 American Embassies in Western Europe and Scandinavia. I was wondering if anyone could help me a little bit and tell me what my chances are of getting into Lehigh.

-I am enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program (extremely rigorous) with a 6.6 GPA (out of 7)
-I take Mathematics Higher level (along with English Higher and History Higher) which is considered one of the toughest courses in the school and I got a 6 my junior year, and currently have a 6 this first semester of senior year.
-I got a 1320 on my SAT's the first time I took them, Math - 730, Critical Reading - 590(looking to bring this up in October when I take them again).
-Member of the Student Athletic Counsel
-Class Representative for Student Government (The Forum)
-Captain of the Varsity Soccer Team this year. Last year I took the team to the ISST finals in Paris and scored the winning goal with 4 minutes left in overtime.
-Member of Poland Drive: and organization that conducts two trips to Poland every year to help with an orphanage.

If anyone could give me an opinion on how you think I compete with other prospective students of Lehigh, I'd appreciate it.

I go to Lehigh. I think you would be a great candidate. I'm sure your entrance essay will be an interesting read.

I am international student as well and was also enrolled in the IB program. You do receive credit for the High Level courses you take (minimum score of 5), so I would think that you could skip Calculus here.

The fact that you have a global background is a plus and I feel that your scores are quite acceptable. It truly is a first-rate school and I have learned so much here. The professors are extremely passionate and care about their students a great deal. I would definitely apply, as I believe it to be a good match.

Yeah that's great to hear. Two positive responses . I'm applying early decision as well, my parents and I discussed the financial options this morning actually. I can't wait to see if I get accepted or not, it would be so nice knowing so early.

Ar31791, what grade are you in? Good parties at Lehigh? haha

Some other things I forgot to mention in my above post:

-I was captain of my Cure for Cancer Marathon Walk team, hosted at Hammond High School in Columbia, MD during my sophomore year
-I travelled to the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California my freshmen year for a science trip. We visited a mining company and got hands on experience as to how they collect their minerals (Obsidian and Limestone mainly)

callmeb0ss, I'm a freshman. As far as parties.... yeah. If you want em, you got em. The first weekend (orientation weekend), over 20 freshman were arrested for underage drinking. LOL. I'm not that into the party scene, so w/e.

and ar31791, do people usually get arrested at parties? or was it just cause it was the first week and everyone was trying to get the college experience right away

supplement essay help?

hey everbody, I am on my last supplement essay but i am having some trouble. I am not exactly sure how i should address the following question at hand. any suggestions?

Essay Topic: In our ever-changing society, people have defined 'equity' and 'community' in many different ways. How do you define these terms and what are the implications of equity and community for our 21st century society?

haha, yeah, I'm also really struggling with that essay; I think you have to define those concepts, and through explaining their importance to society, subtly convey how you would bring these 2 traits to Lehigh... and I think you have a great shot
