Could someone give me some insight as to what weekends are like at LC?
Dances? House parties? concerts?

Weekends

Weekends at LC are pretty much whatever you make of them. The campus itself holds anywhere from 4-6 events on a given Saturday or Sunday, friends might want to go downtown to a concert or a movie or Saturday Market or Powells, there are generally at least two off-campus house parties going on (most parties happen in the neighborhood around campus, not on it) the Co-op will usually have some type of concert or open mic night and Saturday night is Ninja night from 12-4am (think boffing/sword fighting meets capture the flag and college students dressed head to toe in black running around campus)

If you want a decent list of the stuff that happens around campus, check the website for the real life blogs. They've got more of the specifics of what's happened on campus for the past few years, and can give you a better idea of what might be going on in the future.
