Consortium?

Is there any consortium (like Claremont colleges) between Mac and Carleton since they are located close to one another? How long does it take to travel from one college to another? Do students visit each others' colleges for any activities? Sorry for the rapid fire questions but perhaps someone can enlighten me on these. Thanks!

I would not say they are near each other. It is easily a 45 minute drive. Mac has relationships with other schools in St. Paul. It probably has them listed on the website.

Mac is a member of the ACTC (Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities) you can look that up online but, basically, there is a bus that services those campuses. You can take classes at the other schools etc.. Carlton and St. Olaf are not that close, 45 minutes easily and that is with no traffic (they are about 45 miles apart). With the exception of a Mac student going to visit a friend for the weekend I do not know any Mac students who attend events at Carlton or vice versa.
