| Pioneer Scholars Competition
My son has been accepted to Marietta and named a Pioneer Scholar. We'll be traveling to Marietta for the 11/20 scholarship competition and wondered if anyone else from CC will be there as well.
Since his acceptance we've been picking up little bits and pieces of info and opinions about the school with the majority being overwhelmingly positive. We've come to think of Marietta as an overlooked gem, a school with lots of positive points and great opportunities for a student like our son who's self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges. We're looking forward to our visit and are hoping for the best outcome from the competition. We'll report back later with our impressions of the school and the competition in the hopes of helping our fellow CC members with their college searches.
