Should I send C++ applications I made?

Should I include online links to C++ applications I made in my MIT application? What about instructional YouTube videos that I've made in the past? Will MIT look at this type of material, or does it just take up too much time? I'm mainly wondering / curious. Thanks so much in advance!

You can put them all on a personal web site and include a link to that web site. I would describe the programs and include screenshots. If you want them to actually run the programs, make sure that doing so is very, very simple. I'm pretty sure that MIT admissions will not (or at least will not want to) take the time to download and compile anything.

Ohh, that's a great idea lidusha! I think I'll try that.
