Good gpa but extracurricular activity requirements

I have a good gpa and SAT scores but I have quit band after my freshmen year and I am on my sophomore year right now. As of now I'm not in sports or band or etc. I am planning on either rejoining band or joining tennis because I found out how important extracurricular activities are. Is there any suggestion on weather I should rejoin band or just join tennis?

You have no other ec's? No clubs, no scouts, no church groups, no volunteering or internships?
(BTW "Weather": rain, temperature and atmospheric pressure. Whether=which of two things.)
Both activities will require participation for your junior and senior year. Does your school have tennis try-outs? You might get cut and you have to plan for that.

That's not true that they only count junior year, I think people have the option to record their scores or not before junior year, when in junior you don't have the option.
