Hello guys
I'm a new member
I'm not a native English speaker so I may have some mistakes :P
Anyways
I'm still in High School, and I haven't applied for MIT.
I want to get ready to apply for MIT, I bought the SAT official study guide and SAT physics test preparation.
I'm going to start getting ready for this ... so I need your help to give me tips and help me prepare for this, and give me some ways to increase my chances to get into MIT.
I have two more questions, when I was in the 6th grade I won in a national talent-creativity contest for programming a game for children, and when I was younger I also win in a contest in the school for computers, I programmed an app using VB. The question is, would this help ?
My second question is : If I researched and published it on a popular magazine in my country, would this help ?

Here are MIT's testing requirements:

You may also want to take the ACT (if you can). The SAT's vocab section seems to daunt many students who are not fluent in English.

Also, you could probably put achievements from middle school (not too sure actually) but only put them in if they're significant. You might have to place them somewhere other than the "achievements" or "honors/awards" section.

Research does help. You can submit research papers within your MIT app.
