Okay, thanks for the help. Mainly wondering how much not doing well on AMC12(94.5, just short of AIME cutoff), and not getting top 150 Chem Olymp. or any other big, national awards will hurt me.

^Where'd you here that? For most schools, hooks are nice, but not "required".

One thing I noticed is that you don't play any sports, but I don't think that will hurt you for MIT

I play a little bit of recreational tennis, but Im pretty bad and only play with family and friends.

I don't think it will hurt me at caltech or mit.
