Interview

Hello!

I was wondering if there was a way for us (applicants) to obtain our interviewer's phone number? I already emailed my interviewer and got no response- it has been two weeks. I am starting to get a little worried because I am applying Early Action!

Any advice? Thanks in advance

Interview | MIT Admissions

You have over a month, so don't fret about it too much. When I scheduled my interview I think it also took me a week or two before receiving a reply.

Have you tried to send a follow-up email? It's possible that your EC just hasn't had time to reply, but it's also possible that your email was flagged as spam or accidentally deleted, and your EC doesn't know you're trying to contact him.

If you send a follow-up, but don't hear from your EC after waiting another week or so, you should contact the admissions office (interview at mit dot edu) to see if you can get other contact information or be assigned a different EC.

Absolutely, I am regional chair for the EC in my region, and I can assure you that response times do vary. Sometimes an EC might be away for a week on a business trip and will respond upon return. That is completely normal. If you haven't heard after two weeks contact the admissions office, but I am genuinely non-fussed.
