stupid question

I sent the transcripts last year, but this year they redid the rankings. I want to send a new one, will MIT update it? I'm nervous they'll just throw it out as a duplicate or something lol.

I assume you are a transfer applicant.

Considering you should have one more semester of high school under your belt, I don't see why they would think it was a duplicate. Also, why would they save your application from last year? Is that their policy?

send with a note attached, or add a note in additional info section. maybe they'll read it before chucking your second transcript.

ok, my counselor said it is not possible to send notes with the transcripts. do you think it would be ok to email the admissions office to let them know?
