| Transfer Question
I've read that MIT recommends having taken a semester of college level Chemistry and Biology, as well as a year of Calculus and Physics, prior to applying as a transfer student. However, further reading has implied that some of these courses may not be so vital (depending on your major).
I'm a prospective transfer applicant, who at the time of entry to MIT would have all recommended coursework completed, except the full year of Calculus-Based Physics. Upon entry to MIT I'd have a semester of Calculus-Based Physics. With respect to my major (Cell/ Molecular Biology), would the semester of Physics be a significant hindrance to my application?
Thank you in advance!
