My brother got in. His rank was something like 165/950. He had great SATs and by far the most outstanding and MITcore essays I have ever read.

MIT said that there would be an admitted students portal now at MyMIT. I don't see it? It said look there to reserve a spot for Campus Preview Weekend.
EDIT: Nevermind. Says it'll be up on Mar 23.

accepted, 2140 (770m 710v 670w) /770IIC 730 Chem 690 USH
3.8ish GPA 6APs + 3 Honors classes
its really not the classes that got me in i don't think, i always just took hard class for fun and stuff and didn't focus on grades... thats why i had a few Bs (in science) i think its just accurately displaying your passion and personality through all facets (letter of rec, interview, essays etc)
I'm From California! i don't know if i can take the cold after living in the sun all my life. Oh well its gonna be either Stanford(?) or MIT
