Calm

Just putting this question out there, has it just kind of washed over some people that you know if I get in great, if I don't I'll just do my best somewhere else.
I am sure some people have had this attitude for a while but for the rest of us who have been hyperventilating about decisions, its finally starting to sink in that it won't be the end of the world?

Or am I the only one?

You aren't the only one; I decided I felt that way ~ 2 weeks ago.... At this point, there is nothing we can do about the decisions anyways.... We'll all end up someplace awesome, be it MIT or somewhere else.

you're not the only one. i mean applying to college is stressful and all, but i got into 2 of my safeties and one of my likelies so honestly i realized even my safeties are great schools and i would have great opportunities at them too. i mean i would love to go to MIT, but (not to be offensive AT ALL) honestly i feel like someone who freaks out about getting into MIT isn't really meant for it. so yea...

I'm just worried because I'm international and need aid, and there's therefore a very good chance that I won't be accepted anywhere I applied. Which is really terribly tough, and something of an excuse for freaking out a bit. But as long as I make it somewhere, I won't be slitting my wrists over an MIT rejection -- I love the school, I want to attend, but if I don't get in I don't get in, and it's that simple. My worries about MIT are more an extension of my general 'will I go anywhere next year?' worry than anything very specific.

@Noldo: slitting wrists, a geek should think of better ways, like deleting homepage and creating a new homepage sort of thing........ LOL
