I think I have an interesting situation.

I am looking to transfer to MIT from community college which I have attended this semester and will next fall and spring when I apply. I had a 1.95 GPA(no joke) in high school but a 34 on the ACT, long story short I thought homework was pointless and I just went to class, made 100's on the tests and quizzes and got my 77 avg with 30 homework 0's and got out of there.

Well now its 4 years later and I just got out of the Navy last fall with a medical discharge under honorable conditions. So I just took my first semester of classes of Physics, Calculus 1, Econ, German and made a 4.0 and just took the SAT 1 with the SAT 2 math level 1 and physics tests.

My question is that if I can do this for 2 more semesters what are my chances of getting into MIT especially because of my high school gpa? I am also considering playing football and running track since I was all-region and a state qualifer in both so Im hoping the coaches there can help me out.

There are so few successful transfers each year (single digits often), that there is no statistically significant pool that anyone other than the admissions officers can reasonably draw on. So it will be essentially impossible to get a knowledgeable response to your question.

MIT admissions is generally very competitive. Transfer admissions tend to be even more competitive.
