| I'm waitlisted as well, but to add another angle to the above poster's comment: I know several people who have actually rejected Harvard FOR MIT. The fact that Harvard is losing out, could be an extremely bad sign for us...as people are now rejecting prestige (Harvard) for actual fit (MIT).
For example, Harvard and Princeton are well below their intended class sizes this year, but places like Johns Hopkins are over-enrolled.
Oh well, it's probably better to look on the bright side...except we should be aware of the different possibilities, as well. |
