MIT is aiming for 1040 people in the class of 2012. There were 1554 people accepted. I highly doubt that 500 people are going to reply to this.

Good luck, but this thread probably wouldn't ease your anxiety.

But I wouldn't regret so much even if I don't get into it, since I got into my second choice.

Cross-registration from Harvard eh? That's cool. No I got waitlisted at MIT too. but I would give anything to go to MIT right now.

Instead of asking everyone not attending to post on this thread, it would be a lot easier if one of the accepted could kindly log on to their MyMIT account and tell us how many people have signed the guestbook...

Preferably not how many posts, but how many posters...

Thanks in advance to any of the accepted who does it!

Accepted here, and will attend pending Harvard waitlist decision.

mathmaniac, the guestbook is not accurate. Over 1000 have signed it, but I know for sure that there are some who signed it who are not going to attend. The facebook group has nearly 900, so I would set that as the bare minimum.

^I think it should be accurate now. I declined my offer to MIT and can no longer access the guestbook in MyMIT.
