I got an award from MIT, but it wasn't that great.

I got a much better award from another good school.

If I show MIT the other award letter, will they reconsider my package?

I'm pretty sure MIT won't increase your aid just 'cos another school's more generous. I remember Mr Barkowitz saying something like that before. I have a zero parental contribution for Yale, but that's not going to make my MIT parental contribution zero anyway. Unfortunately.

But I still chose MIT:-)

unless the amt of money your parents make changes, or your parents all of a sudden have more dependents, your amt. will not change.
