Tip to juniors: If you want to get into MIT you need to have great essays and do very well in higher level math and science classes. I don't think I'm as engineering/science oriented as the typical MIT student. I also left this app for the very last day, was not an ideal school for me, although its incredible for engineering. Oh well cheers!

It's not really a complaint or anything, it's just what it is. Perhaps if I hadn't gotten a C+ in a book-reading class last spring or a C in English mid-semester (it'll be changed...but too late for admissions), things would be okay. Bs probably would have been acceptable enough, but the Cs dropped my GPA and class rank. I would have needed some superhook to get in with my current transcript stats, and I don't have one. ANYWAYS.
