Yup I'm applying here too. Probably EA as well. I'm really hoping to be accepted through football recruitment. Obviously my numbers and such are stellar and I have the EC's and recs to back me up but I may not be quite there (at least in my mind) lol.

I just wish the application came out already. I'm home most of the summer and I would love to start my MIT app right now.

Hopefully, my little brother will be joining you all in applying!

Historically, students that apply EA tend to be admitted at a slightly higher rate, but this is mostly due to the fact that if you apply EA to MIT, you probably really, *really* want to go here, and are therefore probably a better fit than some RD applicants. Early Action typically doesn't give you any sort of 'boost' in admissions; that's generally reserved for early decision.
