2014 hopefuls?

Hey, I was just wondering who else besides me is planning on applying next fall. Getting super nervous yet, or not worrying about it until later?

Question: Which Ivies superscore and which ones don't?

If they do, does it mean the admcom will only see the highest score from each section?

well they'll see all of your scores.. but they won't consider all of them. and I don't know which ones do/don't. I think most do.

that said... for the rest of us 2014 hopefuls - EA or RD?

I'm going for EA. :3 two chances at getting into MIT - I'll go for it.

quest4success, I know that MIT, princeton and harvard does and yale doesn't (yale wants all your scores and takes all of them into consideration individually) .You can get into "send your scores" in collegeboard and write down the name of the college, they will tell you which schools do what.
btw add me to the list too I was gonna do early action but I just learned that international students can't

question: for ea, can you send in the score report in september, retake some subject tests in october, get the scores back and see if you improved, then rush report it?

You can take tests up through November for EA -- no rush report required.

From the admissions website, here:
Quote:
In order to apply for freshman admission, you must take the required tests on or before the November test date for Early Action or the January test date for Regular Action.
So, yes, you could take tests in October, send the scores, then re-test in November. If the scores are better, those are the ones that will be used in your evaluation.
